Chamber Fun

Thanks Eddie for organizing the performance.  I had a lot fun in accompanying some young performers on Mother’s day :)

Outdoor performance is just as fun as indoor.  It was a warm and sunny afternoon.  The young performers were full of uplifting, positive energy.  The audiences were very supportive and welcoming.   Throughout the performance, I smell some additional flavours on top of the beautiful sunshine – they were New York Fries, Starbucks, and Haagen Daaz! :P

 

Creativity makes our life healthier

Little things, such as walking the stairs, can make our life and our planet healthier. :)  This video shows how creativity can motivate people to walk the stairs than to take the escalator. 

(This idea is an “initiative of Volkswagen – The Fun Theory”).

Orchestra = Organization

Anything can be converted into a piece of musical instrument.  Here is a video of the HP commercial where the office has turned into an orchestra.  :)

After watching this video, I can relate how an orchestra could be an miniature anlogy to an organization.

Conductor = CEO
Different instrument families = Different departments (such as Sales, HR, IT, Accounting, Financing, Admin, etc)
Musicians = Employees of the organization 

The conductor leads the orchestra, just like the CEO is the leader of an organization.
Every musicians is important to an orchestra just as every department and every employee is important to an organization.  The organization won’t take shape without anyone of them.
