After thought on the ABRSM conference

The ABRSM conference Inspiring Success was held on November 4-5, 2011 at the Intercontinental Stanford hotel. The workshops were all great. There they told you exactly what they will be looking for in exams and what you need for pass, merit, and distinction. Besides the grading, the “planning” and the Orff sections were awesome. Those were not only fun, but they were also great inspirations. The aural section too, was very informative. :). I’m so glad to have attended it.

Wedding Gig

Thanks to E., I had another chance to play in a wedding gig last week.  It was a sunny and warm afternoon.  The site was very pretty.

Both the bride and the groom had secretly practiced to perform for each other.  That was such a touchy moment :)

UPDATE:  The result was released at 5:46pm.   This “practicing panda” photo have won second place.  :)
